ℹ️ Setting up work addresses correctly is crucial so that users can earn Coins for recording their trips.

This article is a step by step guide on how to set up work addresses for Pave Commute:

  1. Navigate to “App Settings” in the dashboard sidebar

  2. Click on the “Work addresses” tab

Create new work addresses

  1. Add new address
Click the “add” button to create a new work address and search for the address which you would like to add.

Make sure you select a precise address which contains the street name and number.

    ✅ Good examples:
    Peter-Behrens-Platz 9, Linz, Austria
230 Pacific St, Suite 203, Santa Monica, California, USA

    ❌ Bad examples:
    Linz, Austria
    California, USA

  2. Choose a display name

Once you selected the correct address you can choose a display name. Users will only see the display name in the app. Therefore make sure the address is easily recognized by users and the display name is commonly known.

  3. Configure the radius:

Every address has a default radius set. Only when trips end within the radius users earn Coins! If the default radius is not precise enough you can switch to defining the area manually. To do so, click on the “Define area manually” button.

Define the area manually

Click on the map to draw an area surrounding the whole work address.

Make sure all parking spots and other relevant buildings / areas are included within the area.

✅ Good example: the area includes parking lots and nearby bus stations or cross-overs.

❌ Bad example: the area only includes the office building without parking lots.

❌ Bad example: the area is too big and includes whole regions where users could potentially live.
