First steps as a manager

Create an account, set up the app, explore & create rewards, invite users, download the app, view and manager your plan.

Hi, there!

As a Manager, you can set up Pave Commute for your team and track the progress they make towards a more sustainable future!

Here’s how to get started:

  1. Create an account.

  2. Set up the app.

  3. Get started with rewards.

  4. Invite users.

  5. Get the Pave Commute app and join the movement.

  6. View and manage your plan.

1. Create your account

Create an account at https://dashboard.pavecommute.app.

  • Click on “Start free trial.”

  • Sign up with your email address or use one of the social-login methods.

    Confirm or update your region (EU countries or Non-EU countries).

  • In case you used your email address to sign up check your email. We’ll send a one-time code along with instructions to verify your email address. Please check your spam folder if you can’t find the email in your inbox. For security, the code will only be valid for eight minutes. You can generate a new one in the app if yours expires.

  • Complete your profile. The app will need some basic information including your first and last name.

Welcome to the Dashboard! Next, let’s get ready to share Pave Commute with your team.

2. Set up the app for your company

The Pave Commute app is where your team will record trips and earn recognition. Setting it up for them is easy. Start by clicking “App Settings” in the main navigation menu on the left side of the Dashboard.

Available App Settings

  • General
    Upload your company logo and set a contact email for account-related questions. This will be visible to all users you invite to will help them identify your company. Users can always contact Pave Commute Support for technical questions. This information will be visible to users that join your team in the Pave Commute app.

  • Work addresses
    Add, edit or remove eligible work addresses for your company. Users will be rewarded with coins if they take a sustainable trip to these addresses. Find detailed advice on setting up work addresses here.

ℹ️ Make sure to add the correct street and number so your users will earn coins as expected.

  • Login
    Define email domains to make it easier for your users to join your team in the Pave Commute app. When users sign up using a valid email ending in one of the domains you specify, they will be automatically approved to join your company. 3. Explore & create rewards

Users that join your company in the Pave Commute app can collect coins for sustainable trips and exchange them for rewards.

Your own rewards

Rewards will recognize and encourage your team when they choose sustainable modes of transportation. To create your first reward, go to the “Rewards” tab in the main navigation menu and select “Add first reward.” You can find detailed instructions on setting up rewards here.

Global rewards

Global rewards from Pave Commute may be available to users in certain countries. Where applicable, they will be visible in the Dashboard and the Pave Commute app. Global rewards may vary from time and are already included in your subscription.

4. Invite users

Invite your team to get the app and start using Pave Commute. If you want to give other Users access to the Dashboard, you can do so by selecting the Manager role.

  1. Click on the “Users” tab in the main navigation drawer.

  2. Select “User list”.

  3. Click “Invite user” to invite a user via email.

    Additionally you can invite users via the import functionality right next to the invite-button or let them signup themselves using an email domain you added in the app settings.

5. Get the Pave Commute app

Try out the Pave Commute app yourself and check out the adaptations you already made through the dashboard. To download and log into the app easiest follow these steps:

  1. Click on the “Get the app” button in the main navigation drawer on the left.

  2. Follow the guide in the “Get started with the app” modal.

ℹ️ Scan the QR-code with your phone to sign in to the app automatically. Even if you haven’t downloaded the app yet it will recognize you and log you in right after you finish installing it.

6. Manage your subscription

A free trial gives you full access to Pave Commute for 30 days. You can upgrade to a paid subscription on the “Account” page in the main navigation menu anytime, or simply click on the “Upgrade now” button in the trial banner.
